He is the founder of NU FUTURIST, and the creator of The Foresight Academy, a groundbreaking program that teaches the skills innovators, industry disruptors, and change-makers use to shape the future. Jared is also a futurist with a Master's in Strategic Foresight and Future Studies and an instructor of Strategic Foresight at the University of Tennessee's Haslam College of Business in Graduate and Executive Education.
Leaders across various industries utilize Jared's insight and expertise, from U.S. Army Special Forces to Fortune 500 companies and from government municipalities to entrepreneurial start-ups. He’s also worked in Hollywood with accomplished actors, writers, and producers, helping them reinvent themselves and discover new areas for growth both inside and outside the bounds of their industry.
Jared is the founding advisor to the Donovan & Bank Foundation, a not-for-profit that helps special operators bring closure to their warrior stories and transition to a life of peace, contentment, and balance. Drawing from his background as an ARMY BRAT and entrepreneur, Jared continues to provide critical insight into the private sector and business culture to special operators reintegrating into civilian life.
Jared is also a musician, composer, and competitive cyclist living in Charlotte, North Carolina, with his wife and two sons.
